The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Lake Raj offers a taste of Bangladesh in the heart of the Lake District, and it’s safe to say that the food is on point. Lo ST was left pleasantly surprised by the warm plates and thoughtful service, while Beans appreciated the soft naan and memorable dishes. It seems like the staff, including Raj, are doing their best to deliver a great experience.
However, the reviews suggest that the quality can fluctuate. While some diners rave about the authentic flavors, others found the dishes not quite as impressive as expected. If you’re in the area, it might be worth a visit for the kind service, but don’t go in expecting a Michelin-star experience.
