King of Siam is a Thai restaurant that’s got the goods, scoring a solid 4/5 on hygiene. You walk in, and you’re greeted with flavors that transport you straight to Thailand. Lucy raves about the vegetarian Pad Thai as if it were her long-lost love, while the staff are as eager to help as a golden retriever on a sunny day. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do, and the seafood comes fresh, keeping Dan Clark and his family happy.
Overall, if you’re in the Lake District and craving Thai, this place hits the spot. Just be prepared for slightly higher prices, but hey, you get what you pay for, right?
