Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Union Tavern is a charming little pub that tries hard to win your heart but can sometimes feel like it’s serving up a mixed bag. The beer garden is a lovely spot, as Loris and Noé can attest, but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. There’s a solid drink selection, and the food has its moments of deliciousness, yet there are plenty of complaints about slow service and food that misses the mark. Like William, who enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast but seems like a big gamble.
The vibe is warm and relaxed, but with slow service and a few staff hiccups, you might find yourself twiddling your thumbs. It's ideal for a casual drink with friends, but if you're after a culinary experience, be prepared for a bit of a wait. There’s potential here, but it’s very much a work in progress.
