🏠 THE FEATHERS PUBLIC HOUSE 18-20 BROADWAY, LONDON, SW1H 0BH
Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Feathers Public House feels like a classic British pub experience, according to Laura and Mott, who made the trek from Wales just for a pint and a pie. The tap cider is apparently top-notch, and the steak and ale pie is so good it should probably be illegal. Though, let's be honest, the toilets need a solid scrub. Larry's experience was soured by a stinky toilet, a real buzzkill after a few pints.
The vibe swings from laid-back to lively once the tourists roll in, and Gülşen found herself serenaded by live music, which is either delightful or just annoying depending on your mood. The staff seems friendly enough, making it a safe bet for a cozy meal, but if cleanliness isn't your thing, you might want to hold your breath or opt for an outside seat. Overall, a decent place to grab a drink and a hearty meal if you can get over the less-than-pleasant bathroom situation.
