The Clermont Charing Cross is the hotel equivalent of a warm hug after a long day. This place is all about a top-notch experience with a side of class. The afternoon tea here is legendary, with scones that could make a grown man weep. Barbra Gasa raved about them, and honestly, who wouldn’t? The staff—shoutout to Chagor, Anna, and Conrad—are so attentive they make you feel like royalty.
However, not everything is unicorns and rainbows. One guest was less than thrilled with their cramped room and the slow lift, but hey, they probably missed the point of staying in a hotel with such an incredible location. It’s just a short stroll to the Thames or the theatre. Overall, if you need a comfy spot with great service, you’ve hit the jackpot here.
