The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Pret A Manger is as vanilla as it gets. Sure, it’s clean and boasts a 5-star hygiene rating, but good luck finding a unique experience here. Rick Longley had his expectations blown away when the staff turned a potential disaster into a win, but let's not kid ourselves—this is still a chain café. You go in for coffee and a quick snack, not for a top-tier dining experience. Brigita Beresford found the atmosphere peaceful, perfect for a break from the Oxford Street chaos.
However, the service is hit-or-miss. Nakshathram Preetham wanted more coffee knowledge from the staff, and poor Helen Hayward had a burnt toastie incident that left a sour taste. If you’re lucky enough to get decent service, enjoy your macchiato, but prepare for a mixture of enthusiasm and indifference. ☕️🙄
