Motcombs is that understated spot you stumble upon and think, 'Why haven’t I been here before?' Alexei enjoyed a light salad, while Claire made it a point to come back for their three-course meal—the food is reportedly fantastic. Adrian thinks it’s the best local treasure, and Jonathan and his family have been back multiple times.
However, not everything is sunshine and rainbows; Paul called out the tuna tartare situation, which failed to live up to its social media hype. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit for the friendly vibe and tasty food, but maybe stick to what you know works.
