Marquis Of Granby Public House is like that comfy old hoodie you can’t bear to part with. The hygiene is pristine at 5/5, but the food is where things get a little hazy. The fish and chips seem to be the star of the show—Steven Archinow raved about how golden and tender they were, but not everyone is so enamored. The bar vibe is friendly, and Chelsea’s beer recommendations are on point, but the atmosphere can be a bit of a mixed bag.
You’ll find some decent grub and a cozy atmosphere, but it’s not exactly a food Mecca. Still, if you crave pub classics in a friendly setting, you can’t really go wrong. Just be wary of the occasional service hiccup—it happens.
