Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Marquess Of Anglesey is the rooftop bar you didn’t know you needed—until you arrive and realize it’s a bit of a letdown. Hygiene? 5/5, which is a win. But don’t let the gleaming cleanliness fool you. Sean’s late lunch was greeted with a reserved table and top-notch service, though what’s a good meal without a side of 'meh'? Kiren enjoyed a stellar cocktail on the roof but was it good enough to call it a must-visit? Probably not.
Timothy said the fish and chips were 'the best ever;' sorry, does this mean you should rush here? Not really. Overall, if you find yourself in Covent Garden, it’s a decent spot for a drink, but don’t expect culinary fireworks. It’s fine—just fine. 🌅🍽️
"Starters were all beautifully cooked and we loved the fig infused bread."
"Amazing place to have pre-Theatre cocktails."
"Best fish and chips ever."
