The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Mari Vanna gives off serious grandma's house vibes—cozy decor, homely dishes, and service that feels like a warm hug. Anatolij raved about the borscht, and Ieva loved sharing Eastern European delicacies with friends. But don’t get too comfortable; one diner was not pleased with the overpriced cranberry juice, which tasted suspiciously like it came from a carton.
The menu has some highs, like pelmeni and Napoleon cake, but also a few misses, like that dodgy honey cake. It’s a mixed bag of delightful and disappointing, so go with an open mind and maybe skip the dessert.
