The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Ma La is the sort of spot that sneaks up on you when you least expect it, like a ninja with delicious dumplings. The vibrant atmosphere and authentic Chinese dishes have folks raving about the flavors, particularly the fragrant chili chicken and salt and pepper squid. The team here knows how to keep plates full and glasses topped up, which is always a plus in my book.
While the majority are singing its praises, there are a few who felt it didn't quite hit the mark on certain dishes. So, if you’re feeling adventurous and up for some spicy food, Ma La might just be the thrill you’re after, just don’t go expecting Michelin stars.
