Lola's Cupcakes in Covent Garden is where dreams of sugary goodness come true, at least for some. Ariana Lyons can’t stop raving about how these cupcakes are 'some of the best' in London, and I’d be inclined to agree—if you get the right ones, that is. The service at this location gets a thumbs up too, which is always a refreshing change from the usual grumpy staff you find at dessert places.
But let’s not sugarcoat everything: not everyone is a fan. Gabriella was left disappointed by a Mini Banoffee Cupcake that lacked flavor. Ouch. So if you swing by, just make sure you choose wisely. Overall, it’s a decent spot, but like picking a cupcake, it can be hit or miss.
