Lido Chinese Restaurant is like that reliable friend who’s always there for you but never really impresses. Their dim sum and Cantonese dishes are decent enough, but it's not the culinary adventure you'd hope for in the heart of Chinatown. The glutinous rice and octopus cake? Pretty solid, but be prepared for some hits and misses with the rest of the menu. The service is fast, but sometimes you might feel a little lost in the chaos of busy nights.
If you're craving Chinese food and find yourself around the area, Lido might fit the bill, but don’t go expecting fireworks. It’s clean and the prices are fair, which is a plus, but just like that friend who shows up late to the party, it’s all a bit underwhelming. You can get your fix here but keep your expectations low.
