Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Laxsa is a Malaysian dive that promises authentic eats but leaves you with an ‘eh’ feeling. Chloe K’s experience of their nasi lemak and pad Thai was decent, but for almost sixteen quid, she was probably expecting more than just a single chicken thigh. Ree had a lovely time with the atmosphere—cozy and buzzing—but the service seemed to drop off when it came to the upstairs seating. Pia Roxas was all about that laksa broth, so there’s a silver lining somewhere.
On the flip side, Yee's experience was marred by a dirty ceiling and forgotten drinks. A dirty ceiling? Seriously? If you can overlook some grime, you might have a good time here, but let’s just say Laxsa is one of those places that makes you want to double-check your dinner plans.
"Nasi lemak was good and not too spicy."
"The venue has a cozy, homey feel with a great atmosphere."
"Outstanding quality they serve up."
