Lamb And Flag Public House is the kind of place that offers a little taste of history along with your pint. The hygiene is ace, and while the food isn't going to set the world on fire, it’s hearty enough to satisfy after a long day. Sunday roasts are where it shines, but don't expect Michelin-star plating.
The atmosphere is lovely, full of character, and the staff are friendly enough to make you feel at home. Just keep in mind that as charming as it is, the food could use a bit more salt. If you’re in the area, it’s a solid spot for some classic pub grub and a pint.
