The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Gold Mine Restaurant serves up some decent Chinese food, but don’t let the name fool you; it’s not exactly a gold rush. ST and Daniel had a grand time eating Peking duck and crispy chilli beef, while others were left feeling that it was just a step above average. Service is fast, but you might find yourself battling for a bit of attention.
The dim sum menu? Worth a shot, but don’t expect to be blown away. If you’re in Chinatown and craving a roast, it’s a safe bet to satisfy those cravings, but it may not be your new favorite haunt. Just keep your expectations in check, and you won’t be disappointed.
