🏠 THE CROWN 64 BREWER STREET, LONDON, W1F 9TP
Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Crown Public House is your average pub that tries to punch above its weight. They serve up a solid fish and chips that even has some Thanksgiving-level turkey dinners on offer. The upstairs dining area is a bit classier, which is a nice touch, but let’s be real: it's not Michelin star territory. Shoutout to the staff, especially the fantastic waitress who could probably convince a fish to order chips. If you want a cozy spot with decent food but aren’t expecting a culinary revolution, this is it.
But if you’re looking for a pub that brings the heat, this one is more about the chilled vibe and warm beer. It’s reliable, but you won't be writing home about it. So, bring your mates, grab a pint, and keep your expectations in check – you’ll leave feeling satisfied but not exhilarated.
"The waitress was fantastic and offered great recommendations."
"The best fish chips I've ever had."
"The rabbit pie is gluten free as it comes with mashed potatoes!!"
