The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Browns serves up a decent dining experience, with Tom enjoying a well-cooked duck parfait and festive turkey that had him feeling like it was Christmas in July. Vanja Matic felt welcomed by the attentive staff and loved the huge sourdough starter. It seems many found the food to be hot and tasty, with Emma Chase loving her prawn and chorizo linguine. However, the service can be a bit spotty, as some reviews mention inattentive staff.
If you’re after a pleasant meal with some hits and misses in service, Browns could be a solid choice. Just don’t expect it to blow your socks off, or you might end up a little disappointed.
