Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Brasserie of Light tries to be fancy, and it kind of pulls it off. The decor is stunning with a rather impressive Pegasus sculpture by Damien Hirst, which is more than enough to distract you from the slightly steep menu prices. The food is decent with standouts like the mushroom rice bowl and succulent steakβwhich is, you know, what you expect when you're shelling out cash like itβs a night at the opera.
Service here can be hit or miss. You might get treated like royalty, or you might feel like just another seat filler at a Broadway show. Still, if you want a lovely setting for brunch or lunch while shopping at Selfridges, itβs a pretty solid choice. Just keep your expectations in check; itβs not quite Michelin star but itβs a few steps above your average chain. π₯π
