Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Bombay Palace is where you go when you want to impress your mates with a decent curry and some spicy banter. It has a solid reputation, and for good reasonβthe food is authentic and packed with flavor, especially if you take the advice of the staff like Robert. The lamb rogan josh and dahi bhalla papri chaat are highlights that get the taste buds dancing. The ambiance is lively, especially during events like Diwali, making it a fun choice for group dining.
On the downside, while the food is generally praised, the service can have its off days, with some guests feeling like they were treated like a nuisance. If you can navigate the occasional rudeness, youβll be rewarded with some of the best Indian food in London, but donβt expect a Michelin star experience here.
"Fantastic meal with work colleagues."
"The food here is delicious and one of the first signs to know that is seeing Indian people eating here."
"The Roganjosh was the best I've had outside Pune India."
