Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Argyll Arms Public House is the quintessential pub experience, tucked away just off Oxford Circus. Paul praised the award-winning pies and the fish and chips that he claimed were more like whale and chips—classic British humor, or maybe he just really likes his portions. With a wide selection of beers, it’s a solid choice for a pint, but be prepared for London prices.
Service seems to be a mixed bag—Shaz had a lovely experience with Chris, while others noted some less-than-stellar interactions. The atmosphere is cozy and traditional, perfect for kicking back. If you want a proper pie in a classic setting, this is the place, but don’t expect to escape without spending a pretty penny.
"I can recommend the food here the pies are award winners and are really tasty."
"The hospitality was impeccable."
"The service was really good."
