Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
Wellspring is the kind of place that could be a hidden gem, but more like a stone left unturned in an NHS car park. It’s clean, sure, but that’s about the best compliment it gets. From overpriced sandwiches that taste like they’ve been in the fridge since the last NHS staff meeting to lukewarm meals served with the enthusiasm of a damp sponge, this 5 hygiene spot might just be your last resort. Some people say the food is decent, but have they ever tasted anything from a hospital café?
The staff is friendly, which is great, but you might end up waiting long enough to think the chef is off saving lives instead of cooking your meal. So, if you’re in the area and starving, it’s a 'feed me now' option, but if you’re looking for an actual meal, it’s better to make the trek elsewhere.
"Friendly staff, not actually that expensive."
"Good food"
"A stale and overpriced facility."
