Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
The Chutney is where you can find a rather mixed bag of Indian culinary experiences. Jonty was all about the incredible service from Ali, who apparently knows how to make you feel special. If you’re looking for bold flavors, this place might just hit the spot; the food was described as 'unreal' by him. Rob, on the other hand, was busy raving about the King Prawn Chilli Chilli, but let’s be real, that’s probably just because it sounds cool to say.
However, not everyone’s experience has been a total win. Some dishes fell flat, with Kelvin mentioning an odd fish-to-potato ratio in the Vindaloo. And then there's Mr. B, who clearly had a rough time—his curry was mediocre and the rice was a crime against gastronomy. If you can dodge the inconsistencies, The Chutney might just serve up a decent meal. The atmosphere has its charm, so it’s worth a shot if you’re in need of a curry fix.
"The food? Unreal. Rich, bold flavours, beautifully presented."
"If you’re looking for a really tasty curry with welcoming staff then you should 💯 % give The Chutney a try."
"Amazing food with very good service. Very flavourful and can’t wait to try again when I’m in the area!"
