Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Pier Point Cafe is like that charming friend who’s great to have around but can be a bit of a letdown when it comes to food options. The sweet potato chips and spicy carrot pastry are the highlights, but the veggie menu feels like an afterthought. Fowad and the crew are friendly and create a great atmosphere, especially with the playground nearby for the kids. Just remember to keep your expectations in check.
While the setting is lovely, and the service is on point, the prices are more shocking than you’d expect for cafe grub. If you're looking to impress your taste buds, you might want to think twice before diving into the coffee that costs an arm and a leg and tastes like it was brewed last week. Still, if you're after a decent sit-down after a day in the park, it hits the mark.
"Service has always been welcoming, friendly, and helpful."
"The spicy carrot pastry was nice but not what you can call a meal."
"Fowad is a very good and nice staff member."
