Staff interactions can be hit or miss; you'll either leave with a smile after a kind gesture or feel like you’re dealing with a grumpy relative.
The highlight? One sweet staff member made a kid's birthday a bit brighter with a surprise doughnut; yet, you might find yourself dealing with a miserable Brenda who seems to think she’s auditioning for a horror movie. If you're desperate for a quick bite and the bakery next door is closed, take a deep breath and enter Greggs, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
