The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen has all the glitz but might be missing some of the bite. The fish and chips could make you swoon, but don’t let the hype blind you—some dishes are about as impressive as a soggy Yorkshire pudding. The service can be hit or miss, with some staff shining while others seem to have taken a long lunch break.
If you’re expecting spectacular food, set your expectations to ‘acceptable’ instead. The ambiance is nice, and the drinks are pricey (surprise), but it’s like a movie with a great trailer and a mediocre plot twist. If you’re after a solid meal without the Ramsay name on it, you might find better options elsewhere. 🍽️
