The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Cheatmeals Tooting is the kind of place that keeps you guessing. Ahmad made the trek all the way from California, and it sounds like he was rewarded with a feast of burgers, loaded fries, and American BBQ that hit the spot. Tim was pleasantly surprised by the plant burger, the kind that makes you double-check if it’s actually meat. Sounds like the chefs are putting their heart into those patties.
But it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Hazik found the food mediocre, and Emmalouise felt like she was served stale bread. The inconsistency might make you want to take that Buy One Get One Free offer with a pinch of salt—especially if you get shortchanged like Ahmed Nubel. It’s a roll of the dice, but when it’s good, it’s good.
