The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
So The Olive Restaurant is your average neighborhood spot that serves up decent grub but lacks that wow factor. Kadir and his crew are friendly, which is a bonus, but let's be honest – it’s not exactly changing the game. The vegetarian platter for two did get some love, especially that stuffed aubergine, but if you’re looking for a culinary thrill ride, you might want to keep scrolling.
It's like a warm hug from your nan – comforting but not particularly exciting. The desserts are a nice touch, especially when they come with a song (thanks, Kadir), but that’s about as far as the excitement goes. You’ll leave with a full belly and maybe a smile, but you won’t be dreaming about the food later.
In short, The Olive is solidly mediocre. You won’t catch any food poisoning here, but don’t expect to have your socks knocked off either. If you’re in the mood for something safe, this might just fit the bill, but I wouldn’t plan my next birthday here.
