Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
KFC at Chingford Mount is clean, but let’s be honest, it's still a KFC. The chicken is fresh and crispy, just like you’d expect, but the Zinger Tower meal? It's more of a snack than a feast. I mean, who knew a 'tower' could be so small? The staff, however, are a mixed bag; some are friendly and on the ball, like the crew that cleaned our table, but others leave much to be desired. One visitor was so disgusted by a staff member's hygiene practices that they walked out. Not great, right?
In a nutshell, if you're craving KFC and you're in the area, this spot has hygiene on point, but don’t expect gourmet. It’s a pit stop for a quick fix rather than a destination for a culinary adventure. Just remember to check your food before you leave, or you might end up missing that thigh piece you actually asked for. 🍗😅
"The staff here was really kind and helped clean up the larger sized table very quickly."
"The classic KFC appeal: you know what you’re getting."
"Will recommend this KFC. One of the best in East London."
