The Market Tavern is the kind of place that feels right at home with a hearty pub meal. S Lipcaman had a cozy Christmas Eve dinner here, connecting over a pie and fish and chips while sipping on Winter Berry Spritz. Nathalie swears by the Sunday roast, which she claims is a bargain in Mayfair—good portions and even better taste.
However, don’t let the charm fool you. This place is fine for a meal, but Andrew feels it’s just another upscale pub, and Lizzie mentions prices and portion sizes that might leave you wanting. The food is decent, but it’s also easy to find better for less elsewhere. 🍻
