Troxy Restaurant is situated in an old cinema. It’s got that retro charm but, like many of us, it’s showing its age. With hygiene as clean as your hands after a trip to the bathroom, you’d think the food would be a similar story. Spoiler: it’s not. The venue has decent acoustics for concerts, but if you’re here for the food, you might want to re-evaluate your priorities.
The drinks are overpriced, and the atmosphere can get a bit stuffy when packed. The service is mostly good, but expect a few hiccups if you hit peak hours. Great for a concert or a night out but don’t expect gastronomic fireworks.
