Ippudo is a ramen joint that scores high on hygiene but falls short in substance. With a 5-star hygiene rating and a 4.1 Google score, it could be great if it weren’t for the hefty prices. You’ll find delicious noodles, but I hope you brought a magnifying glass because the portions are on the smaller side. The octopus balls may be delightful, but you’ll wonder why you paid nearly £20 for a meal that leaves you wanting more.
The service is efficient, but I have to wonder if they were trained in a hurry. If you’re looking for a quick ramen fix, it’ll do the job, but prepare for a wallet ache and a lingering sense of “meh.” It’s a decent option, but don’t expect to leave feeling like a king. 🍜
