Gail's Bakery in Spitalfields has the potential to be your new favorite spot, but it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The croissant is hailed as the best in London, and the cinnamon bun? An absolute delight. But while the pastries might be top tier, the service has more twists than a pretzel.
You’ll find some staff are friendly, while others can come off as rude. Isaac, Rebecca, and Jon all had positive experiences, but others felt ignored or disrespected. If you can overlook the service hiccups, the food makes it worth a visit. Just don't go in expecting a Michelin star treatment.
