Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Sagor: Indian Palace has its moments, but it seems the kitchen staff need a serious pep talk. The poppadoms are fresh and crispy, and one reviewer even called the curry the best they've ever had. But order at your peril; if you’re a takeaway regular, be prepared for the occasional missing side. Arthur Aa's been there more times than he can count, but he's finally throwing in the towel after their last three takeaways went wrong. The service can be hit or miss, too — James Hill felt more like an intruder than a guest. Still, if you’re after a decent curry, you might just find something to love here.
The vibe is mostly friendly, but the occasional grumpy waiter can ruin the mood. With a solid four hygiene rating, you won’t have to worry about the health inspector knocking at their door. A blend of good and bad, Sagor is reliable enough... if you can handle the risk of missing naan bread from time to time.
