The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Lakeside Roadford Lake is the kind of place where the scenery is breathtaking, but the food might leave you feeling a little underwhelmed. Adam Pracy raves about the fantastic café and friendly staff, but let’s be real, if your meal is as pricey as your view, you might just need to bring a packed lunch next time. StarLight Blue2 enjoyed their lunch, but found the prices a tad high given it’s literally in the middle of nowhere.
The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for a family day out, but you might find the food isn’t exactly on par with the stunning surroundings. It’s a nice spot to relax post-hike, but don’t expect a Michelin-star experience. You’re likely to enjoy a decent meal, just don’t go in expecting culinary fireworks.
