The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Cardamom is where you go when you want Indian food that slaps. D Lancs couldn’t get enough of the Nargis Kebab and Aubergine Pakora, while J Knight loved the aromatic dishes. The BYOB policy is a nice touch for those who enjoy pairing their curry with a cheeky bottle of wine. Steve McQueen has been coming back for more, calling it the best Indian restaurant around.
But not everything is perfect. A couple of reviewers pointed out the restaurant's bright environment and takeaway-like vibe, which can be a bit off-putting. If you’re after a solid Indian meal without the frills, Cardamom delivers. Just don’t expect the typical restaurant ambiance; it’s more “grab your takeaway” than “dine-in luxury.” 🍛🍷
