The Wheatsheaf is your typical London pub experience—nice enough, but don't expect fireworks. The food looks good and the atmosphere is buzzing, especially with a crowd after work. Lots of folks love the steak pie, and the pizza coming out of the oven is a sight for sore eyes. But let’s be real: if you’re after gourmet, this probably isn’t your place.
Service can be hit or miss, and some staff might need a lesson in charm—looking at you, manager. Still, it’s a decent spot for a casual drink, and if you find yourself in Borough Market, it’s worth dropping in. Just steer clear of the awkward toilet situation downstairs and you might have a decent time.
