Monkatsu is the kind of place that tries to impress with its vibe but falls flat on execution. Sure, the ramen is decent, but with an empty restaurant, the atmosphere could use a boost. The chicken karaage is crunchy, and the sushi gets some love, but it's not breaking any culinary boundaries. If you want sushi that’s perfectly average, this is your spot. Just don’t expect a Michelin star experience.
