Hakata Ramen+Bar is a solid choice for a no-fuss dining experience in Bermondsey. The starters hit the table faster than you can say 'mango sour mocktail' – which, by the way, is worth a double order. Minn was all about that gochugaru sauce, while Tony raved about the crispy wings and dumplings that nearly had him doing a happy dance. Billy’s katsu pork sando? Apparently, it’s the best he’s ever had, and at just £8.50, that’s a steal to be proud of!
But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Daphne and Lui found a few broth issues, hinting that the flavor could pack more of a punch. Cindy, on the other hand, clearly had a bad day, calling her ramen disappointing and the karaage chicken as hard as a rock. So, make sure you stick to the winners here and you’ll be golden.
