Thornbury Perk is like that friend who shows up at the party with a decent snack but leaves you wanting more. Lowri Nicholas stumbled upon this joint during a taekwondo competition and found the bacon sandwich decent, but nothing to write home about. Sure, the cakes get some love, but Michael Brooks was left unsatisfied after a brush with horrible customer service. It’s friendly enough, but it’s not what you’d call a culinary hotspot. If you’re in the area, grab a coffee, but don’t expect Michelin-level delights. 🍰
