Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
Welcome to Tesco Family Dining Ltd, where the food is as basic as the name suggests. You can grab a vegan sausage that Jo claims is 'the best' she’s had, but don’t expect culinary fireworks — the roast tomato is half raw, which is an interesting choice for a breakfast staple. The hash browns? HN thinks they're crispy perfection, but if your toast is thinner than a celebrity's patience, you might feel a bit cheated. It’s a clean spot, with friendly staff (even if they sometimes forget your second jacket potato), perfect for when you're too hungry to venture outside the store.
In the grand scheme of dining, this place sits comfortably between ‘meh’ and ‘not terrible’. If you're looking for a hearty breakfast on the go, maybe just lower your expectations a tad. It’s basically a place to refuel before you tackle that shopping list. Just don't expect to be blown away by gourmet fare or lightning-fast service. Ayyub was waiting on jacket potatoes like they were ancient relics, and Penelope probably could've whipped up something better at home. At least the staff are friendly — they might even smile while serving you the most basic of meals. 🍽️
