FORGET ME NOTS

Forget Me Nots is a mixed bag. On one hand, you’ve got raving fans like Jasmine who swoon over the gluten-free Full English, which apparently doesn't taste like cardboard. Dogs are welcome (take note, fido fans), and their cakes get a thumbs up from most. However, on the flip side, if you’re ordering the tomato soup and cheese toastie, you might as well save your £7.50 and just grab a tin from your cupboard. And let’s not even start on the avocados that were older than your last birthday cake. If you’re lucky, you might catch a nice coffee, but then again, it can be a gamble with the service. The vibe? A bit like that friend who always shows up late and eats your fries.

In short, it’s a place that wants to please but sometimes ends up serving you cold spaghetti when you asked for a hot date. If you want a decent coffee and a dog-friendly spot, maybe give it a shot. But if you're craving more than a good old can of soup, you might want to keep searching.
