The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Dobbies Garden Centre is the place to go for your garden needs, but the café is a bit of a letdown. The garden centre itself is pretty well stocked with plants and tools, and staff make an effort to be helpful. But step into the café, and you might find yourself wishing you hadn't. While the cakes and cream teas get a nod, the food service can be a chaotic mess, and the quality doesn’t always match the price. It’s the kind of place that might leave you wondering if you should have just grabbed a sandwich from home instead.
If you’re looking for the full garden experience, it’s worth a visit. Just skip the café unless you're in the mood for a cup of coffee and a snack. It's not a destination for a proper meal, more of a pit stop on your gardening journey.
