The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Cafe Shirley is like your reliable friend who shows up to brunch with solid plans but leaves you slightly underwhelmed. Sure, the jaeger schnitzel might have had RR Skye singing its praises, claiming it’s the best mushroom sauce ever, but that glow doesn’t quite shine through the rest of the menu. Teodora adored the cozy mountain hut vibe and the friendly service from a German cook, but let’s be real – we’re here for the food.
If you're in the mood for a decent breakfast, Lucie’s English breakfast did the trick, but Aleksandar had some not-so-great luck with dry bacon and undercooked eggs. So, if you’re looking for a German eatery that serves up more hits than misses, Cafe Shirley is fine, but don’t expect to be blown away. Just a chill spot to fill your belly, really. 🥘
