The Ridgacre is the quintessential family pub that’s clean as a whistle, but don’t expect Michelin star cuisine. Drew the manager is a gem who knows how to keep things running smoothly, even on a busy Sunday. The special £5 mains are a steal, but the food quality is as standard as a chain pub can get—good enough but nothing to write home about. If you're looking for a reliable meal in a friendly environment, it ticks all the boxes, just don’t come in expecting to be wowed. A decent stop if you're in the area, otherwise, you might want to keep looking.
