That Ziki is the kind of spot that makes you reconsider your life choices—why on earth have you been eating anything else? The gyros here is top notch, making even halloumi fans weep with joy. Anna-Lee was all praises for the chicken and chips, while Shauna couldn’t stop raving about the fresh hummus and pita. It’s a glorious Mediterranean escape, but there’s a catch—hygiene at a solid 5/5 but with some complaints lurking in the shadows.
However, the quality can be as hit or miss as a game of darts after a few pints. Louis found the halloumi gyros tasty, but a bit underwhelming on sauce. Then you have the dry pork fiasco that left Kirst feeling like she’d bitten into shoe leather. It seems consistency is not quite their strong suit. So, if you fancy living on the edge, go for the hits; just pray you avoid the misses.
