The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Embankment Kitchen Café is right in that middle ground where you’ll find clean tables and a decent breakfast, but maybe not the culinary heights you dream about. Susana Sáez Iglesias was impressed with their breakfast spread while staying at City Suites, and M_touski1 described the buffet as an absolute highlight. Jodie Williams enjoyed a stunning beef rib, and Darren Chambers was over the moon with the caveman platter. But then you have Eyituoyo, who noted the breakfast options were limited and somewhat restricted.
It’s a reliable spot to grab a bite if you’re staying nearby, but don’t expect to be wowed. The service is friendly and accommodating, but it’s like that friend who’s always there for you yet never brings the party. Great for a casual meal, but maybe not a destination for foodies.
