La Plata Restaurant is your ticket to Argentinian delight without the plane ticket. You can’t go wrong with their ribeye steak, which one reviewer, Sandip, described as 'perfection' with chimichurri that packs a punch. The vibe is cozy, and the staff are as friendly as your overly enthusiastic uncle at a barbecue. Just watch out for the desserts; Barbara noted they look better than they taste. Not a dealbreaker, though.
With a three-course meal for two at just £93, Harry was thrilled to find a place that serves food as good as what he had in Argentina. Phoebe loved her steak and fries lunch deal for £13, while others raved about the loaded steak sandwiches. Just keep an eye out for the occasional grissel—Geoff's ribeye was a bit of a letdown in that department. Overall, La Plata is solid and worth a visit, especially if you're craving a meaty feast.
