1903 Lounge at Bristol Airport is like that overpriced hotel you expect to be luxurious but ends up being a letdown. You walk in and admire the ambience, but it quickly becomes apparent that the food offerings are about as thrilling as cardboard. Russell Haggata enjoyed the vibe, but Wendy McColl was hit with watery soup and flies on the fruit — yikes.

For the price you pay, you'd expect at least a decent meal, but here it feels like you're just paying for a seat away from the crowd. If you’re looking for a quick drink and a bit of peace before your flight, it might work for you, but in terms of food, you’re better off grabbing a sandwich from a station shop.
