Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
The Lazy Daisy Cafe is a charming little pit stop that offers a taste of homemade comfort food. Przemek Tuliszka found it after a long drive, and it did not disappoint. The full English breakfast is a highlight, and Steven Hockett raved about the curried vegetable soup, which is apparently the best he’s ever tasted.
This cafe may be small, but it packs a punch with its friendly vibe and attention to detail. With reasonable prices and generous portions, it’s a great spot to refuel. Just be prepared for a little wait during peak times, but trust me, the food is worth it. Bring your dog along, they’ll probably get a sausage too.
